My style is defined by strong architectural ‘bones’, softened with movement and seasonality in the planting.
I prefer to use local materials in the hard landscaping, with punctuating evergreens to add green structure.
The plant palette is guided by each garden’s particular conditions, with a strong emphasis on native, low maintenance plants.
I enjoy mapping out a garden’s layout into various spaces that can be used and enjoyed through the year.
Years of maintenance in my own garden in Cornwall has taught me to think through the practical implications of every single design decision.
I am passionate about gardens and have designed many across the south of England in the last 20 years.
